Soccer Game Preview: Tonasket vs. Cascade

The Tonasket Tigers will head out to challenge the Cascade Kodiaks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Tonasket is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Chelan just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mountain Goats by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cascade's offense. They lost 3-0 to Brewster on Tuesday. Cascade have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Tonasket, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 6-2.

Tonasket might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Cascade when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
