Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of TAMARI REED and JORDAN QUINCE Lead Dwyer to Victory

Dwyer won the last time they faced Suncoast and things went their way on Friday too. The Dwyer Panthers managed a 56-51 victory over the Suncoast Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Leading Dwyer to victory were JORDAN QUINCE and TAMARI REED. QUINCE went 5 of 12 on his way to 21 points along with five boards and three steals, while REED went 5 of 11 en route to 17 points. The match was QUINCE's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of AHMAD LAWRENCE, who posted five points and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Suncoast still got an impressive performance from Aaron Horton, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. Those 18 points gave Horton a new career-high. Jamarey Harris was another key player, putting up ten points.

Dwyer's record is now 4-1. As for Suncoast, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Dwyer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-54 win against St. Brendan on the 7th. As for Suncoast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-48 victory against Boynton Beach on the 9th.
