Volleyball Recap: Mclean Extends Winning Streak to Five

McLean came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Langley Saxons 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory last Thursday.

McLean was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.

Will McGinnis paced McLean's offense, picking up 15 kills. McGinnis got some help from Evan Li and his 34 assists. Li was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

McLean's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Langley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Coming up, McLean will look to defend their home court on Monday against George C. Marshall at 6:00 p.m. Langley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
