Softball Game Preview: Marshall Rams vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS

Marshall is 0-3 against Sotomayor since February of 2025 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the WILDCATS at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Marshall managed to slip by Warren the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Warriors on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sotomayor's offense. They lost 16-0 to O'Connor on Tuesday. The WILDCATS haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sotomayor, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.
