Mineola won the last time they faced Edgewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 8-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Mineola let Jorja Young and Mahayla McMahon run wild. Young went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while McMahon went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn McMahon, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Mineola's record now sits at 14-10-2. As for Edgewood, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-9-1.

Looking ahead, Mineola will be playing at home against Van at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vandals will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
