Volleyball Game Preview: Northridge Knights vs. Bonneville Lakers

The Northridge Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Bonneville Lakers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northridge has now lost 19 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 19th.

Northridge came up short against Box Elder on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Bonneville lost 3-0 to Woods Cross on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Bonneville might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Woods Cross: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Northridge couldn't quite get it done against Bonneville when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Northridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
