Football Recap: Sullivan West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sullivan West entered their matchup against Eldred on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs lost to the Yellowjackets at home by a 76-60 margin. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 52-48.

Despite the loss, Sullivan West still got an impressive performance from Seamus Johnston, who rushed for 61 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Eldred got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Ranaudo out in front who rushed for 216 yards on only 12 carries, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Ranaudo a new career-high. Eldred also got a significant boost from Koen McGill, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 116 yards.

Sullivan West's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Eldred, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

As of now, neither Sullivan West nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
