Pacifica took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against San Marcos, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tritons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Royals on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tritons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
