After losing to Bottineau the last time they met, Devils Lake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Devils Lake Firebirds took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 59-29 win over the Bottineau Braves/Stars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Firebirds.

Devils Lake pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Bottineau, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Devils Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Carrington at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bottineau, they will head out to challenge St. John at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
