Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point Takes a Loss

Myrtle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 65-37 defeat at the hands of the Siuslaw Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since January 12th.

Myrtle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Siuslaw, they moved to 1-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Myrtle Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-14 win against Pacific on the 9th. Siuslaw has also already played their next game, a 47-43 loss against Elmira on the 7th.
