Basketball Game Preview: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers vs. Union Grove Wolverines

The Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers will head out to take on the Union Grove Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy played against Locust Grove and won via forfeit.

On Saturday, Union Grove was able to grind out a solid win over Hampton, taking the game 49-42. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Hornets are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Union Grove's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-15.

Things could have been worse for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-35 loss to Union Grove in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Union Grove's Layla Adams, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards.
