It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Thousand Oaks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Westlake Warriors 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Warriors on April 1st, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.
Thousand Oaks' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Madison Jauregui, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
