Volleyball Game Preview: Parlier Panthers vs. Riverdale Cowboys

The Parlier Panthers will square off against the Riverdale Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Parlier came up short against Fresno Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Parlier took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-8, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Riverdale lost 3-0 to Fowler on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Parlier's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Parlier's way against Riverdale when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Parlier made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
