Purcell had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Harding Prep onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The win was just what Purcell needed coming off of a 15-4 loss in their prior match.
Parker Page was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Tyler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Purcell's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Harding Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Purcell will be playing at home against Classen SAS at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harding Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Tuttle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
