St. Maries's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Priest River Spartans as they made off with a 7-3 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for St. Maries' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Priest River from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Nisha Banjao led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

St. Maries moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Priest River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coincidentally, St. Maries and Priest River will both be playing Timberlake the next time they take the pitch. The Lumberjacks will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on October 2, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on October 7.
