Yamhill-Carlton had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Santiam Christian Eagles a 16-0 shutout. 16 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
