It was a proper cat-fight when Pine View duked it out withHurricane on Saturday. The Pine View Panthers managed a 66-61 victory over the Hurricane Tigers. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers who have now won seven matches in a row.

It was another big night for Jelani Odjegba, who went 6 of 12 en route to 18 points along with six assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Schmitt, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 19 points.

Despite the loss, Hurricane still got an impressive performance from Brigham Kemp, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 15 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Kemp's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Bryson McCauley was another key player, going 5 for 12 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

Pine View's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Hurricane, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine View will face off against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Pine View's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Hurricane, they will challenge Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
