Basketball Recap: Pleasantville Has No Trouble Against Van Buren County

After losing to Van Buren County the last time they met, Pleasantville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pleasantville Trojans were the clear victor by a 60-38 margin over the Van Buren County Warriors on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Pleasantville's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Van Buren County, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Pleasantville will head out to square off against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont will roll in looking for their 24th straight victory, something Pleasantville surely won't give up without a fight. Van Buren County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
