Volleyball Recap: Wynot Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Wynot came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wynot's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenna Oligmueller, who had nine kills, three digs, and two aces. Oligmueller is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season. Haley Wieseler was another key player, getting 20 assists and four digs.

Wynot's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
