            It's playoff time, and Long Beach Poly had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Poly Bears  4-3 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Jackrabbits have won by  just one  run.
Long Beach Poly got a great performance from  Ryan King as he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate, Long Beach Poly saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Izaiyah Gutierrez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Long Beach Poly is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Poly,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-12.
 Looking ahead, Long Beach Poly will take on Camarillo at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday. The Scorpions will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Jackrabbits surely won't give up without a fight. Poly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
