Faulkton and Warner squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Faulkton had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Warner Monarchs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October.

Despite the loss, Faulkton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Clair Cotton had ten digs and ten assists. Cotton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played.
Haleigh Holt was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs.
Faulkton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season. As for Warner, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 31-4.
Faulkton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Warner and Colman-Egan will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warner is looking to tack on another W to their 17-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
