Volleyball Recap: Napoleon Comes Up Short

If Napoleon was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Vandercook Lake on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Central Golden Eagles on Saturday. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Napoleon has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-12-3 record this season. As for Columbia Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-13.

Napoleon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Leslie on the 25th. As for Columbia Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Manchester on the 25th.
