Volleyball Recap: Saucon Valley Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Saucon Valley duked it out with Northwestern Lehigh on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Saucon Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Northwestern Lehigh work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 29-27, 25-12.

Lexi George was nothing short of spectacular for Northwestern Lehigh: she had 28 digs and three aces. George has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Saucon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
