Basketball Recap: Corpus Christi Moody Takes a Loss

Corpus Christi Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles and fell 106-33. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 65-20.

Billy White Iii was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 10 on his way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Mondragon, who posted 14 points.

Corpus Christi Moody's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.
