Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Garfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell 5-0 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Garfield, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will challenge Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garfield, they will square off against Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
