Goodrich was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Brady Bazsler did his best to prevent it. Bazsler pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in earned runs.

Sadly, Bazsler's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Martians' four-game streak of wins on the road.
