They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 15-5 walloping at the hands of the Carney Bulldogs. Oilton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carney apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Zane Corter and Jacksyn Prather stepped up to the plate in a big way. Corter scored three runs while going 1-for-2, while Prather scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Rylan McCool, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Oilton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Carney, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.
