Grafton is a perfect 10-0 against Jamestown since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Clippers are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jamestown will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Grafton extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Clippers blew past Smithfield 11-1.

Meanwhile, Jamestown made easy work of Lafayette on Monday and carried off a 14-2 victory. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Tenley Medlin made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jamestown let Zoe Mayes (Marymount University) and Allie Mair run wild. Mayes (Marymount University) went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Mair went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits Mair has posted since back in March. Josie Hughes was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Jamestown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Grafton's record is now 13-5. As for Jamestown, their record now sits at 11-6.

Grafton skirted past Jamestown 5-4 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Clippers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
