Gibbs is a perfect 3-0 against Blake since December of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gibbs Gladiators will face off against the Blake Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. Gibbs knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matchups -- so hopefully Blake likes a good challenge.

Gibbs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Seminole 89-51. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Blake entered their tilt with Boca Ciega on Monday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Pirates, posting a 90-55 victory. Given the Yellow Jackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Pirates are ranked 171st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blake's win came from a few key players Gibbs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joshua Lewis, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. The game was his third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Philon, who posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and six blocks.

Blake was working as a unit and finished the game with 32 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Gibbs' record is now 25-4. As for Blake, their record is now 24-4.

Gibbs didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Blake in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 68-62 win. Will Gibbs repeat their success, or does Blake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
