Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Carrollton). They walked away with a 73-66 win over the Sidney Yellowjackets on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets back in December of 2024, they had to take a 69-61 defeat.

The victory (which was West Carrollton's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Sidney, they moved to 11-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

West Carrollton will square off against Tippecanoe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tippecanoe will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something West Carrollton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sidney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairborn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
