Basketball Recap: Surry Homeschool Skates Past TEACH Homeschool with Ease

Surry HomeSchool not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since January 18th. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers 60-29. For the Runnin' Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 77-36 win the Beach Breakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2017.

Surry HomeSchool can attribute much of their success to Heath Clark, who posted 20 points. Preston Furr was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Surry HomeSchool, bringing their record for this year to 12-26. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for TEACH Homeschool, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Surry HomeSchool has already played their next contest, a 58-32 defeat against Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) on the 7th. TEACH Homeschool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
