Softball Game Preview: Maine South Hawks vs. Rolling Meadows Mustangs

The Maine South Hawks will head out to challenge the Rolling Meadows Mustangs at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Maine South will be strutting in after a win while Rolling Meadows will be coming in after a loss.

Maine South's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Evanston with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

The result came thanks to Sibelle Stevens's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows came up short against Prospect on Monday, falling 13-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caylee Del Boccio was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Rolling Meadows' defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Maine South, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
