Mio-Au Sable had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the Alcona Tigers 40-26. This was payback for the Thunderbolts, who suffered a 40-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mio-Au Sable's record now sits at 4-1. As for Alcona, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
