That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buccaneers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laney to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaitlyn Dreimann, who had 15 digs and two aces. Kinsley Nagle was another key player, getting five digs and 15 assists.
Laney's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for New Hanover, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Laney will host Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Topsail is coming into the game with six straight victories on the road, so Laney will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for New Hanover, they will welcome Hoggard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Hoggard has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
