Vero Beach is 6-1 against Jensen Beach since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vero Beach has three straight wins, Jensen Beach has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Vero Beach's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Pulaski County. Considering the Indians have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jace Romans was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Hunter Johnston, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Vero Beach was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Jensen Beach suffered their closest defeat since March 7th on Thursday. They fell just short of Martin County by a score of 4-2.

Jensen Beach also got a good showing from John Gillen, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Furthermore, Gillen didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Jensen Beach saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Rader, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Vero Beach's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Jensen Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Vero Beach skirted past Jensen Beach 4-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
