After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cold Springs, West End was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Ider Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 38-20. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Patriots' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Brodie Mass threw for 167 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Brayden Mitchell was his top target, picking up 82 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Fysher Patterson rushed for 139 yards and one score while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

The victory snapped West End's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Ider, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
