Basketball Recap: Parker Kuehn Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Madelia

Madelia typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Springfield proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Madelia Blackhawks 70-68. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Blackhawks: they've now won three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Kuehn, who on his way to 17 points. Thanks to that strong game, Kuehn now owns an excellent 45.9% shooting accuracy. Brayden Sturm was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

Springfield pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Madelia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 22-5.
