After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dutchtown, St. Paul was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Archbishop Hannan Hawks 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

St. Paul's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Caime, who went 2-for-4 with one double. Easton LeBlanc also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Archbishop Hannan, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

St. Paul's has already played their next match, an 11-4 defeat against Lakeshore on the 24th. As for Archbishop Hannan, they will square off against Pope John Paul II at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Hannan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Pope John Paul II's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
