Mountain Ridge not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th (when they won 30-2). They blew past the Valley Vista Monsoon 25-0. The result was nothing new for the Mountain Lions, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Alexis Boumarn was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Italia Carpio was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in February. Kyra Harrison also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Mountain Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Vista only posted an OBP of .000.

The win snapped Mountain Ridge's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-9 record. As for Valley Vista, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

As of now, neither Mountain Ridge nor the Monsoon have any future games scheduled.
