Baseball Recap: West Liberty-Salem Falls Short of Graham Local in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Liberty-Salem can now relate to. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Graham Local Falcons on Tuesday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

West Liberty-Salem saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Oder, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

West Liberty-Salem's loss dropped their record down to 13-7-1. As for Graham Local, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-10.

West Liberty-Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Graham Local, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mariemont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
