Corona del Sol faced Desert Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Aztecs were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Thunder. The result was nothing new for the Aztecs, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Corona del Sol has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.
