The Buccaneers will host the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Jack Britt is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Union Pines: they outscored them in every quarter. The Buccaneers blew past the Vikings 76-52 on Tuesday.

Deryian Mitchell had a dynamite game, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Williams, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 15 boards.

Jack Britt was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They racked up six more assists than Union Pines' also-impressive total of 13.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when New Hanover faced off against Chambers on Saturday. The Wildcats received a blow as they fell 80-66 to the Cougars.

Jack Britt's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for New Hanover, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Jack Britt took a serious blow against New Hanover in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 71-39. Thankfully for the Buccaneers, Rodmik Allen (who went 8-for-13 to rack up 19 points and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
