Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Lupton). They really took it to the Arvada Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-7 victory. The Bluedevils pushed the score to 52-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had no chance of recovering from.

Fort Lupton can attribute much of their success to Josiah Gonzales, who threw for 106 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards. That's the most rushing yards Gonzales has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dominick Martinez, who rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Fort Lupton's run defense was locked in: Arvada could only muster 0.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Donovan Buschman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Fort Lupton's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 2.77 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 4.9 on average over their last five games.

Fort Lupton's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Arvada, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
