            If Fitch was feeling good  fresh off their  52-26 takedown of Valley Regional last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fitch Falcons took  a  48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodstock Academy Centaurs. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Centaurs earlier this season, when they won  33-27.
 Fitch's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Synaa Waters, who  dropped  a double-double with 15  points and 11  boards. That was a full 35.7% of Fitch's points, marking the third time in a row  Waters has  posted  more than a third of the team's points.  Katherine Wenger was another key player,  putting up 15 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
Fitch's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Woodstock Academy,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-6.
 Fitch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  51-44  loss against Hamden on the 12th. As for Woodstock Academy, they have also  already played their next contest,  a  54-39  victory against Norwich Free Academy on the 10th.
