Softball Recap: Woodhaven Beats Carlson for Their Third Straight Win

Woodhaven extended their postseason success on Saturday against Carlson. They came out on top against the Marauders by a score of 10-6. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Natilee Pridemore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Ariel Krueger was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Woodhaven hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in seven consecutive matches.

Woodhaven's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Carlson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodhaven nor Carlson have any future games scheduled.
