Basketball Game Preview: Kittson Central Bearcats vs. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators

The Kittson Central Bearcats will head out on the road to take on the Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kittson Central has three straight victories, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Kittson Central made easy work of Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] and carried off a 64-40 win. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River had to suffer through a 75-28 loss at the hands of Stephen-Argyle Central. The contest marked the Gators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Kittson Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Kittson Central against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as the team secured a 71-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kittson Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
