Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short on the Road Against Canton

Lincoln had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 10-0 to the Canton Cobras.

Lincoln saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corbin Kern, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Canton's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will head out to face off against Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canton, they will venture away from home to take on Howell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
