Basketball Recap: Legacy Takes a Loss

Legacy was the 69-37 winner over Jamestown when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Legacy took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jamestown Bluejays on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Legacy came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Jamestown is ranked 77th).

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Jamestown, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-50 win against Mandan on the 17th. As for Jamestown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-45 defeat against Williston on the 17th.
