Softball Recap: Princess Anne Takes a Loss

Princess Anne fell victim to Kempsville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

Princess Anne has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Kempsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Princess Anne will be playing at home against Green Run at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are facing the Stallions at the right time seeing as the Stallions are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Kempsville, they will venture away from home to face off against Great Bridge at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
