Grant and West Linn squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Grant had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Generals' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for West Linn, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Linn, they will face off against Tualatin on Tuesday. The Timberwolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
